Daniel Ortega (1986, Ciudad Real, Spain) bases his research on the integrity of opposing concepts such as: natural / artificial, intuition / reflection, form / concept. For example, in how the artificial supplants the natural, specifically the latter as something weak, incomplete and improvable. From the natural rock he molds three-dimensional objects with polyester resin. The new object prints a temporary and formal evolution, and imposes itself as a metaphorical bridge towards our civilization, where the development of the human being is distorted creating a confusing space where evolution and self-destruction converge.
