Lives and works in São Paulo, Brasil.

 

 

Luca Parise was born in Paris, France, in 1991. He lives and works in São Paulo, in the Atelier do Centro with the artist, educator and thinker Rubens Espírito Santo of whom he has been a disciple and apprentice for 6 years.

 

At Atelier do Centro, he also works as an accountant and professor, and he is a partner of the OPCAC (Office of Experimental Architecture in Atelier do Centro). He is the current director of Sauna Museu CAC (@saunamuseucac) for the 2019-2020 management.

 

In formal terms, the main focus of his research is the space, either strictly through the OPCAC, installations and objects, or through actions, images, drawings or prints.

 

In 2013, he lived in Berlin, where he attended courses at the Universität der Künste Berlin (UDK) and Von Erlenbach Kunstschule. Between 2008 and 2012 he graduated in Actuarial Sciences at the USP School of Economics and Administration. He embarked on the art market through Nail on Wall, the platform he founded and through he discovered the national and international artistic circuit. During this period he has also attended courses in the department of fine arts (ECA-USP), art history (FAU-USP), Tomie Ohtake and Escola São Paulo.
